Mia Haven

Dreamer and professional over-thinker, Mia Haven crafts tales that delve into the messy, magnificent human experience with a fantasy backdrop. She was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has travelled as far as her wallet can endure. After getting her BA, Mia has been obsessed with exploring the tangled threads of the human heart. With a healthy dose of whimsy and a passion for the imperfect, Mia writes poetry and short stories and is working on her first novel.

 

One of her short stories will be published in an anthology, The Seven Wonders, by Mirari Press in 2025. When not writing, Mia spends her time crafting magical crochet creations and can be found wandering the grounds of various Fayres.
