Thandi Rose

Thandi Rose is a fiction writer from Cape Town, who had her first literary credit at age seven, when her letter describing her love for books was published in the local newspaper. She's been chasing that high ever since.

Nowadays, her work explores the tangles of human error and connection, often taking the form of Gothic romance and magical realism. Her speculative fiction has appeared in spaces such as Elegant Literature and Aurore Magazine, including All About Writing’s “The Seventh Month”. Her short story "Buried Alive" appears in UTOPIA/HAVOC, the cyberpunk/solarpunk Mirari Press anthology (2026).

She is hungrily at work on her debut novel, alongside a collection of personal short fiction. When not writing, she indulges in her love of cinema, vintage fashion and the occasional martini along the coast.
